Decks range from Aggressive, Midrange, and Control. Paladin is able to utilize its Hero Power to win attrition battles against other Control decks, and is able to continually put minions on the board to feed aggressive decks! Paladin also has many strong class cards, such as Shielded Minibot, Truesilver Champion, and Tirion Fordring. If you still want to try and make this deck work, try replacing with Ysera or Ragnaros, but the truth is that no late game(8+ mana) card has the same direct influence on your opponent as Tirion with the exception of Al'akir, which you obviously won't have access to since that's Shaman specific.
